Welcome to our Year 2 webpage. Our year group consists of two and half classes and our teachers are Miss Buck, Mrs Harris and Mrs Pape. We are lucky enough to have a teaching assistant in each class and their names are Mrs Jones, Mrs Dunk and Mrs Booker..
We start the day as soon as we step through the door and the first thing we like to do is look at our marking from the previous day and respond to it. After registration we have a maths lesson where we combine our number skills with problem solving.
After break we have Literacy.
Each year we go on a school trip and this year the children thoroughly enjoyed visiting the Hawk Conservancy. We had some fantastic non-fiction writing following this. On Wednesdays we are taught Djembe drumming by Karlos Edwards.
