School Council

The School Council of Calcot Schools Primary consists of two representatives from each class, from Year 2 to Year 6. The Council meets frequently, once every two weeks to express views and make decisions led by Mrs Patterson.

Our staff value the opinions and ideas of our pupils, with many important decision being made by the School Council. Recent decisions have included selecting the component parts for our Junior School trim Trail.

The School Council even interview people for vacancies in school which was particularly important with our most recent appointment, Mrs Rostron, our Headteacher!
